1. About this notice

This notice explains how Mazier CPA Prof. Corp. handles information submitted through maziercpa.com and identifies the outside services used to operate the website. It does not replace engagement-specific terms provided directly to clients.

2. Contact-form information

The inquiry form may collect your name, email address, optional phone number, requested service, optional starting-point selection, response preference, message and consent. Mazier CPA uses this information to review and respond to your inquiry, determine whether the requested work may be a fit, and maintain appropriate business records.

The form is submitted through the Mazier CPA website and delivered by Resend to Mazier CPA's inquiry email. A reference number is included to help identify the inquiry. The website shows an on-page confirmation when the delivery service accepts the submission; this is not a guarantee of inbox delivery. Resend processes email contents and delivery data under its privacy policy. No automatic confirmation email is sent to the visitor. Please keep the initial message general.

3. Ask Mazier

Ask Mazier is an AI-assisted service for general Canadian and Saskatchewan tax information. When enabled, a submitted question is sent to OpenAI for processing and may also involve official government web sources used to support the response.

The website does not provide conversation accounts or intentionally keep a user-accessible chat history. Service providers may process and retain limited request, security or abuse-monitoring data under their own terms and legal obligations. Do not enter identifying or confidential information.

4. Hosting and technical information

The website and its hosting providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as an IP address, browser or device information, request time and security events. This information may be used for reliability, troubleshooting, abuse prevention and security.

5. External services

The website links to TaxDome for secure client access and may link to other external websites. Once you follow an external link, that provider's privacy terms and security practices apply. Mazier CPA uses service providers only for functions needed to operate the website, communicate with visitors or deliver the requested service.

6. Safeguards and retention

Mazier CPA uses administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information handled. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, professional and business requirements, dispute resolution, security and applicable legal obligations.

7. Your choices and questions

You may ask about the personal information Mazier CPA holds about you or request a correction, subject to professional and legal requirements. You may also choose not to use the public form or Ask Mazier and contact the firm using another appropriate channel.

Questions about this notice can be sent through the contact page or to inquiries@maziercpa.com.

8. General website information

Website and Ask Mazier content is general information only. It is not professional tax, accounting, legal, investment or financial advice and does not create a client relationship. Rules and circumstances change, and professional advice should be obtained before acting on information that depends on your facts.

Mazier What If? decision tools

The decision scenarios calculate estimates in your browser. Inputs are not submitted to Mazier CPA, sent to an AI service or saved by these tools in browser storage. Reloading the page restores the fictional examples. Choosing “Clear all figures” clears all four scenarios on the current page.

A decision brief is generated and downloaded on your device when you request it. It contains the inputs and results you selected and remains wherever you save it. You control whether to share it. The advisory inquiry link does not include or attach those figures. Hosting providers still process the technical information described above.

Business Finance Pulse Check

The four-choice assessment runs in your browser without requesting financial figures or contact information. Viewing your results does not send your answers to Mazier CPA or an AI service, and the tool does not save them in browser storage. Reset clears your selections.

If you choose “Discuss your needs” from the results, your selected answers and suggested next step are copied into an editable inquiry message. You can review, change or remove that summary. It is sent with your contact details through the inquiry service described above only when you provide consent and submit the form. The assessment does not create a client relationship.

Mazier CPA may update this notice as the website, service providers or requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
